Not the hotel at Wych Cross but I saw a Roe buck twice on my morning walk today. We see a lot of Fallow deer around here but Roe tend to be solitary and I have seen them quite often on walks around the village. Their antlers are much smaller and more pointy than those of Fallow deer and they have a buff-coloured patch on their rumps. You may spot one if you are very quiet on your walk!
