An interesting hole

Early this morning I spotted that someone had been busy digging in a stony area amongst the tree roots. There were a few bees crawling around and more conclusively, a typical badger dung pit beside it. Not many animals would face a nestful of angry bees in order to snack on the larvae but badgers are tough!
