Some of the wetter areas of the Forest are really important habitats for Dragonflies and Danselfies. These are damselflies: a large red and a pair of Azure Damselflies. They tend to be smaller and more delicate than dragonflies and settle with their wings behind them rather than out to the side. Take care not to let dogs ruin these special habitats if you are lucky enough to walk on the Forest.
